Please catch me up?

Could someone please explain to me what has happened to The War Room these last couple of years? I notice you've had a name change and i'm confused by the different clubs, special rules and fees.

I spent many great saturdays in the summer of 2004 or 2005. I find myself thinking fondly of those times and most oddly I miss the smell of the basement, especially the unfinished back room, loved making terrain back in there.

I want to finally finish painting my empire army and insert myself back into the community I left those many years ago...stupid MMOs.

Do I just show up on a saturday afternoon and pay a drop-in fee like before?

I'd like to know if Nick, Reme or Kevin are still around? And to the others i'm sorry I was never great with names.

Look at the calender and feel free to drop in on one of those groups. Different clubs do different things.


Basically what happened is that people abused the club. Things and money were being stolen, food was being left out, the place was being left a mess, and people weren't paying. This lead to a time where the Warroom came to an end, and in fact the entire place was almost lost to us gamers forever, however Nick and Reme reorganized it into the Warriors of Time Club. Renovations were made, safes were added, and now groups rent the space rather than people paying a straight fee.

Unfortunately we are now at the second major crisis. There is a foundation crack that flooded part of the basement and ruined a lot of the new flooring, and worse yet Nick and Reme are done throwing money at the club, so if we don't raise the money to fix it then the club will be closed for good.
